Each of these lines represents a day split to show where the sunrise and sunset occur. This creates a band showing the seasonal fluctuation in length of night and day.

There are reports that Russian government have been blocking independent news outlets and preventing Russians from hearing news of the invasion of Ukraine. The Light Calendar series are a decade long project where we plotted the daylight seen in London throughout the year. We are selling this archive of collectable screen prints in recognition that a darker world - one without access to independent journalism and unheard voices in crisis - is no place we should be in Today.
